Learning to fly is one of life’s great adventures. It will both challenge and reward you, and it will open up your life in many ways.

At Out Of The Blue Aviation, we encourage and support you in a friendly yet professional way throughout your training period. Our instructors will ensure that you receive all the training you need to be a safe and proficient pilot and, in the meantime, you will meet and get to know other students who are progressing through the program as you are.

As a part 141 school, our facilities, instructors, and aircraft have undergone a rigorous FAA inspection and proven that the standards of instruction at Out of the Blue Aviation meet all of the exacting FAA requirements. Out of the Blue Aviation is the only FAA approved school at Arlington Airport.

As a Cessna Pilot Center, we use the expertly designed Cessna Training Program that includes in-depth ground study modules as well as detailed pre-flight videos that enable students to progress as efficiently as possible through the training program. We find that our students graduate in a much shorter time, on average, than the national average.

As a Light Sport Training Center, we do more light sport instructing than any other facility in the Northwest. We have three light sport aircraft available – a low wing Tecnam, a high wing Remos, and a tailwheel Aeronca Champ. There is something for everyone at Out of the Blue Aviation. For Light Sport training we use both the sophisticated computer-based Cessna program and the Gleim program. Both kits are available in our pilot shop, and can be ordered by phone as well.
