Let The Adventure Begin...

Mike Lynch

Years Flying:  24

Favorite airplane you’ve ever flown:

Pitts S-2B

Aviation Background:

I grew up in a small midwestern town and hung out at the airport from the time I rode a bike, to the times I took my date (now my wife) out “parking” there.  I learned to fly while working a desk job in the Air Force.  After the Air Force I managed a flight school and taught flying.

Aviation Philosophy:

Always fly shiny side up—unless you are having more fun than is allowed.

Why do you instruct?

Because I love to do it.

What made you want to learn to fly?

It came from inside, a God-given interest since birth, I think.

Best Aviation Related Experience / Memory:

Flying my family on very long cross country flights between South Texas and Central Minnesota and flying low across the Midwest farmlands in summer.  Flying the San Juan's and Mountains.
